The work presented consists of creating a new logo for ‘EdilPi’,
a firm operating in the building construction sector.
EdilPi is working on renovating its brand identity and I was given the job of creating a logo (with accompanying business card) that would represent the company’s values and aspirations.

Inspired by the letters ‘E’ and ‘P’, which symbolise the name EdilPi,
I began my design process.
My goal was to create a logo that not only captured the essence of the
construction industry, but also reflected the company’s commitment to quality
and innovation.

In the course of this presentation, I will share with you the various iterations and
concepts I explored and show the final product.

The logo, with its strong, bold typography and distinctive icon,
perfectly captures the company’s commitment to excellence and reliability.
After the logo was designed, there was the selection of the most appropriate colours for the visual identity, colours that would not only complement our logo, but also evoke the right emotions in the target audience, differentiating us from our competitors.

After careful evaluation, we chose a colour palette that included shades of blue and orange, representing trust, growth and stability.
We also added black to give a sense of elegance and uniqueness.
Once the colours were chosen, there was the design of the business card.
The aim was to create elements that were different but at the same time consistent with the corporate identity, so the cards were made in different colours from the chosen palette. This way we do not have just one variety, but can adapt the colour of the card to the personality and preferences of the receiver.
